    Profile:

Masaki Sumitani was a big fan of pro-wrestling during his high school days. Moving on to Doshisha University in Kyoto, where he actively participated in wrestling clubs under the ring name of "Give Up Sumitani". It was in one such group where he met future New Japan superstar Hiroshi Tanahashi and began a friendship that continues to this day. While in college, Sumitani met Ritsumeikan University student and fellow wrestling club member Makoto Izubuchi. Both men had similar ideas as to what humor and entertainment were, and would form the comedy duo "Razor Ramon" Both men developed persona's to go along with their act. Izubuchi became Razor Ramon "RG" (Real Gay), with Sumitani becoming Razor Ramon "HG" (Hard Gay). After graduating, the duo won the Fukuwarai Grand Prix Newcomer prize. "HG" would go on to become a popular attraction on a wide variety of programs. HG gained much of his fame appearing on the TBS variety show, "Bakusho Mondai No Bakuten", where he would send in video segments of him trying to do a positive service for the Japanese community. Due to the Internet and video services such as Youtube, Hard Gay has become incredibly popular all across the world.

In 2005, HG began appearing in Hustle. But it wasn't until later that year that he made his debut in the Hustle ring, teaming with "Captain Hustle" Naoya Ogawa & "Hustle Achichi" Shinjiro Otani to defeat the Monster Army force of "Monster K" Toshiaki Kawada, Anjo Shirechoukan and the "Erotic Terrorist" Yinlin-sama at Hustle Mania 2005. HG made an impressive debut, impressing fans and reporters in Japan. HG's progress as a pro-wrestler was so remarkable, that he won the Tokyo Sports Best Newcomer award for 2006. HG also received the title of "Hustle Army Ace", eventually replacing Naoya Ogawa as the emblem of the Hustle Army. A year after his debut in Hustle, HG faced off against the Monster Army's ultimate weapon, President Takada's Incarnation, "The Esperanza". Despite HG's impressive growth as a pro-wrestler, he was no match for The Esperanza, who decimated HG with a brutal high kick, before planting HG through the entrance stage with a Tombstone piledriver. HG temporarily left the ring, as he recovered from what was described as "FED" (Fighting Erectile Dysfunction.) However, HG made a triumphant return in March of 2007, pinning Anjo Shireichoukan with the "FED Conquest 69 Driver". No matter how eccentric HG appears to be, he is proof that pro-wrestling in its simplest form is about entertainment.
